BroadBand International Cineplex(万裕国际影城) is the biggest cinema on Middle Huai Hai Road(淮海中路), although relatively small compared with other top cinemas in Shanghai. Its location is what makes it special. It is inside a large and spacious Shopping mall - Times Square (大上海时代广场), which is located at the center of the city and surrounded by a lot of other shopping malls. It is a perfect place to do some shopping, have a nice meal and then watch a nice movie.

The cinema itself is quite young, only existed for several years. But the location used to be where the oldest cinema of Shanghai was. The oldest cinema was built in 1921 by a Spanish. It was torn down in 1994.
