Sweet and Sour Pork with Pineapple(菠萝咕咾肉)


This dish is actuallu quite popular across the whole China. The cooking of this dish does not require so much skill as other dishes like Xiao Long Bao Zi(小笼包子), which requires a lot of skills to make it taste good. So the dish can be found in a lot of restaurants but few of them could possibly screw up making this dish!

The dish consists of a lot of Sweet and Sour small Pork cubes. The pork has better be fat and lean streaked Pork. Cut the pork into small cubes, coat the cubes with a thin layer of flour and egg. Then the cubes should first be deep fried to half cooked, taken out of the wok, and then stir-fried along with pine apples and a lot of flavorings including tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar.
