Indian Kitchen is probably the most successful Indian restaurant in Shanghai. They provide quite original Indian flavor while some other Indian restaurants in Shanghai are more like a mix of Indian and Chinese cuisine. It is not pricy here though to have a nice Indian meal. It usually costs about 100 RMB each person. Some people complain that the service here is not great, however.

Lots of people who like Indian food like this restaurant. Some actually say this is the best Indian restaurant in Shanghai. The decor of the restaurant is quite unique. Lots of details express the mysterious Indian culture, which even makes the food taste more "Indian".
