Lu Pu Bridge(卢浦大桥) is the most recently built bridge on the Huang Pu River(黄浦江). It was done in 2003. It is an arch bridge and the span of the arch is 550 meters, which is the largest in the world. The whole length of this bridge is 3,900 meters, with the main part 750 meters long, 50 meters above the water. There are 6 lanes on the main part.

Lu Pu Bridge is quite close to
Da Pu Road Tunnel(打浦路隧道). It connects
Shang Nan(上南) area in Pu Dong(浦东) to the
North-South Elevated Road(南北高架) and the inner ring road in Pu Xi(浦西). Shang Nan(上南) area is going to the main site for the World Expo 2010.
